Company Description

We are a property maintenance provider covering a wide range of services, from safety testing to lock replacements. Our customers include small local letting agents in Bristol and Bath who rely on us for day-to-day maintenance of their managed properties. We also serve large national companies with major offices across the South West, delivering regular facilities management and contracted works. Our team works across different property types and sizes, offering reliable, responsive, and professional maintenance support. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Multi-Skilled Operative role based in Bristol. The role involves carrying out general property maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, as well as lock replacements, fixture repairs, and safety-related inspections as required. The Multi-Skilled Operative will respond to maintenance requests from letting agents and commercial clients, diagnose issues, and complete repairs efficiently and safely.

  • Traveling between properties
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed
  • Communicating clearly with customers and colleagues
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Keeping tools and materials in good order
  • Supporting the wider team with scheduled and reactive maintenance

Qualifications

  • Strong practical skills in general property maintenance (e.g., basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and lock changes).
  • Experience working in residential and/or commercial buildings, ideally within facilities management or a similar environment.
  • Ability to diagnose issues, plan repairs, and use appropriate tools and materials safely and effectively.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety practices and willingness to follow company procedures and regulations.
  • Full, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites in Bristol and the surrounding area.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
  • Relevant technical or trade qualifications, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in property maintenance are beneficial.
