About The Role
GRAHAM is a long-standing trusted partner to Central and Local Government authorities, including Blue Light sectors across the North West and the wider UK. We are committed to delivering a first-class service and are now recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Plumber to support our Facilities Management contracts across Merseyside, including Merseyside Police and the University of Manchester.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Contracts Delivery Manager, you will join an established team of multi-skilled operatives delivering both reactive and planned maintenance, as well as minor works projects. This is a mobile role, working across various Merseyside and Manchester locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality reactive maintenance and planned works to building fabric across multiple client sites.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing multi-skilled team.
- Ensure all works meet client expectations, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, with standby payments and overtime at enhanced rates.

The Multi-Skilled Plumber Shall
- Undertake a wide range of fabric tasks across reactive maintenance and small commercial projects.
- Diagnose faults, identify required materials, and complete repairs efficiently to a high standard.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements.
- Review minor project requests with client FM teams and provide trade expertise to help scope and plan works.
- Deliver small works projects from assessment through to completion, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Work closely with existing team members, supporting multi-skilled colleagues as required.
- Collaborate effectively with the Control Hub to ensure prompt and efficient response to all work requests.
- Work both independently and as part of a team depending on task requirements.
- Always maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
- Complete point-of-work risk assessments for every task to ensure safe working practices.
- Adhere to all GRAHAM and client policies, procedures, and site rules.
- Liaise daily with clients, customers, and site representatives, always maintaining a professional approach.
- Update Site/Project Management and the Helpdesk on progress, issues, and completion of works.
- Provide clear, accurate PDA write-ups and ensure both GFM and client CAFM systems are kept up to date.
- Record accurate time logs for all tasks completed.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, responding to emergency tasks and ensuring continuity of service.

About You
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience preferably within the maintenance or construction industry in a similar role
- Demonstrate a sound general knowledge of multiple building and mechanical services
- Relevant plumbing qualifications
- Full Driver’s Licence
- Ability to obtain a DBS certificate.
- Ability to obtain Police Vetting approval.
Desirable Criteria
- Licensed MEWP operator
- Manual Handling training
- Confined space training
