Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer that is ready to take the next step in your career? Arcus FM are currently recruiting a dedicated Multi‑Skilled Shift Engineer to join our Operations team, ensuring our mechanical, electrical, and fabric infrastructure is well‑maintained, compliant, and responsive to the needs of our site based client in North West London. What We Offer: Competitive Salary – Up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Enhanced overtime rates for additional earnings Annual bonus (up to 4%) - subject to performance (historically paid out)
What You'll Be Doing
As Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will: Deliver both planned and reactive mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance services across our clients portfolio using CAFM systems and handheld devices As a key part of the team, you’ll ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency in all engineering operations, whilst upholding high standards in alignment with company values. Key Responsibilities Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using Ostara Respond promptly to building alarms (via helpdesk or BMS), escalating where required Manage reactive maintenance tasks via CAFM system and meet SLA targets Close‑out PPMs in timely fashion and follow up remedial actions Liaise closely with Supervisor, technical admin, and service delivery teams Escort/coordinate subcontractors during maintenance visits Provide cover during holidays and sickness—share responsibilities within the shift team Participate in minor engineering projects and reactive maintenance Maintain 100% compliance across all tasks, and proactively ensure regulatory and asset management compliance Adhere to permit to work processes, carry out isolations to energy sources as needed to maintain safe working environment Order materials and obtain quotes for works Provide first‑time fixes for engineering and fabric requests wherever practicable

What We're Looking For
Qualifications: Time‑served in Electrical or Mechanical or Fabric disciplines (minimum 3 years) City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline Desirable: City & Guilds Part 3 or NVQ Level 2 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations 18th Edition Wiring Regulations IPAF / PASMA certification within last 3 years Valid First Aid certificate Experience as an LV/HV Authorised Person Full UK Driving Licence Working hours / Shift pattern 6am to 6pm OR 7am to 7pm (to be agreed by the LM) 42 hours per week 4 on / 6 off / 4 on / 4 off / 6 on On call rota: 1 in 5 Why join Arcus: We’re an award-winning facilities management provider that values expertise and commitment.
