JOB TITLE: Multi-tRade
INDUSTRY: Building and Construction
START DATE: ASAP
SALARY BAND: £20.00 - £24.00 per hour
LOCATION: Somerset area including Bridgwater
Multi-trade required to join projects over the Somerset including Bridgwater and Dorset region with an office based in Yeovil. Travel expected up to 1 hr. The working hours are 07:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. There will be a 12 week probation period on a temporary contract with the offer to go on permanently for the right person.
The work will involve a variety of second fix tasks, including fitting small kitchens and bathrooms, installing skirting boards, putting locks on doors, and fitting splashbacks.

Role & Responsibilities for a Multi-trade Carpenter
- Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade Joinery background, joinery experience essential.
- The works include the repairs of various upvc doors, windows, kitchens repairs and installations and general maintenance to ensure functionality.
- Social Housing experience is essential as you will be working in tenanted properties on general repairs maintenance.
- Basic Plumbing, tiling & patch plastering, floor laying, mould and damp treatment is desirable

Key Skills & Qualifications

NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery

Full UK driving license is required.

The role will also require a DBS check to be completed

Proven experience as a Carpenter with second fix skills

Valid CSCS card

References for similar work in a residential setting
