Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is looking for a Multi Trades Operational Manager to lead and support the Empty Homes Team and Contractors, driving high performance, productivity, and service excellence.
In this key role, you will oversee the delivery of works to our empty homes, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to a high standard. You will play a vital part in ensuring our repairs service remains competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with RBH’s commitment to delivering quality homes and excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of works to our empty homes.
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to a high standard.
- Play a vital part in ensuring our repairs service remains competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with RBH’s commitment to delivering quality homes and excellent customer experiences.
- Manage and coordinate an in-house workforce to deliver successful outcomes including the coordination of multiple trades and the management of contractors.
- Manage budgets and deadlines.
- Prioritize workload and resources.
- Analyze performance information to continue to improve services.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, and partners.
- Keep up to date and research best practice across the technical area and implement any learning in the workplace.
- Adapt to changing priorities without compromising on service delivery.

- Strong leadership skills.
