About the Role
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is seeking a Multi Trades Operational Manager to lead and support the Empty Homes Team and Contractors. In this key role, you will drive high performance, productivity, and service excellence by overseeing the delivery of works to our empty homes. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of works to empty homes, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-standard service delivery.
- Ensure that our repairs service remains competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with RBH’s commitment to delivering quality homes and excellent customer experiences.
- Manage and co-ordinate an in-house workforce to deliver successful outcomes, including the co-ordination of multiple trades and the management of contractors.
- Manage budgets and deadlines, prioritize workload and resources, and analyze performance information to continue improving services.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, and partners.
- Keep up to date with and research best practices in the technical area, implementing any learning in the workplace.
- Adapt to changing priorities without compromising on service delivery.

- Strong leadership skills.
