About Hi-Tech:

Hi-Tech Property Services are an experienced and successful building, maintenance and refurbishment company with a substantial and growing customer base. As a leading provider of property management and construction services we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and professionalism to deliver exceptional customer services.

Hi-Tech employ a variety of trades ranging from general builders, joiners and multi-trades to electricians, plumbers and carpenters and roofers. Typical works can be anything from three to four-day jobs to larger project works circa £250k for a range of customers from pubs, hotels and restaurants to larger commercial premises.

We hold NICEIC, Gas Safe, FGAS, Construction Line and ISO accreditations and have our roots grounded in doing the job right.

About the role:

We’re looking for experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to work on a mixture of our project works across the South East . Our ideal candidate will have a broad experience in Carpentry, and General building disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various works at different customer sites covering the South West.
  • Carry out fault-finding diagnostics.
  • Communicate with customers during works and advising on repair options.
  • Compliance with H&S rules and policies.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including estimators, site supervisors and customer to establish jobs and provide costings.
  • Build positive relationships with all stakeholders and keep relevant parties up to date with developments.
  • Carry out work in a safe, efficient and tidy manner.
  • Work as part of a team and be willing to support other operatives as required.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Willingness to travel regularly to various locations in the South West.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within construction.
  • Experience in managing different stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • CSCS (preferred)

Working Pattern/Location:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
  • Onsite at customer premises.
