Multi Trader
Multi-Trader – Hammersmith, Property Services Division at WPS
At WPS, we're dedicated to ensuring safe, well-maintained homes and communities across the UK. As part of our Property Services division, we oversee 500,000+ social housing homes, providing secure, comfortable living environments for tenants.
🏠 About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Multi-Trader to join our Hammersmith team, focusing on responsive maintenance in social housing properties.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and preventative repairs in occupied homes
- Tackle disrepair issues across multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, electrics)
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
- Maintain clear communication with tenants in a respectful and professional manner
- Record work details and materials used on daily job sheets
- Adhere to Wates’ Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies

Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, electrics)
- Proven experience working in occupied properties
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Commitment to delivering excellent tenant service
