Role Description

The Multi Trader Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kingston Upon Thames. The specialist will carry out a range of residential building and maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, painting, and general repairs, ensuring high-quality finishes that align with LAVIM’s design and sustainability standards. The role involves regular customer interaction to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction. The Multi Trader Specialist is expected to work efficiently across multiple trades, supporting the timely delivery of projects within agreed budgets and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated multi-trade expertise (e.g., carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, painting, and general building maintenance).
  • Experience working on residential refurbishment, renovation, or design-and-build projects, ideally with energy-efficient or sustainable solutions.
  • Strong understanding of site safety, health standards, and compliance with relevant building regulations.
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings, project specifications, and work schedules.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work professionally in occupied homes.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships (e.g., NVQ or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to various sites within Kingston Upon Thames and nearby areas.
