Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Part time (16 hours/week plus weekends)
Salary: Starting from £30,500/annum FTE, depending on experience
Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists are seeking an RVN to join our friendly, close knit nursing team in Winchester, Hampshire.
About The Role
This is a part time permanent position. The working hours are:
- Thursday and Friday shifts between 7.30am and 8.30pm
- 1:4 Saturdays or Sundays, shifts between 7.30am-8.30pm
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with proven experience in a similar role (minimum 1 year post qualification)
- Has good organisational and communication skills
- Works well in a busy environment
- Has a proactive 'can do' attitude
- Is eligible to work in the UK.
You’ll be working alongside a wonderful team including a very supportive PCA team, and you’ll be fully supported by the whole nursing team.
About The Practice
Anderson Moores is in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a multidisciplinary RVN, you will be the real backbone of our hospital. You will rotate across the practice supporting all disciplines - providing outstanding care to patients and pet owners. Your breadth of skills and expertise is called on by all departments, allowing the provision of the essential treatment our patients need.
As a Multidisciplinary Nurse no day is ever the same. The skills offered by this team provide the critical nursing services needed to allow the hospital to deliver the outstanding care we are known for.
Our nurses have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of disciplines. These include:
- Wards – Canine, Feline, Isolation and HDU
- Anaesthesia
- Cardiology
- Dentistry
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Internal Medicine
- Neurology
- Oncology
- Orthopaedic Surgery
- Soft Tissue Surgery
