Role Description

This is an unpaid internship role for a Multimedia Production Intern. The intern will support various multimedia projects, including video production, graphic design, photography, and preparing creative assets for outreach and educational purposes. Tasks will involve assisting with visual storytelling, multimedia editing, and contributing creative input to enhance awareness campaigns. This is a remote position, allowing flexibility in work location.

Job Description

  • Proficiency in Multimedia and Video Production, with experience in editing and storytelling
  • Skills in Graphics, Photography, and Graphic Design for creative content creation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar is a plus
  • Passion for advocacy, diversity, and inclusion initiatives is highly advantageous
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a related program is preferred

Tasks

  • Edit full-length podcast episodes (multi-cam or single-cam) with a focus on pacing, flow, and visual engagement.
  • Clean up audio tracks (noise reduction, leveling) and ensure high-quality sound for all exports.
  • Create "Shorts/Reels/TikToks" by identifying the most viral-worthy moments from each episode.
  • Ensure all content is exported in the correct formats and meets our brand’s aesthetic standards.

Skills Required

Content Creation

  • Experience with content creation platforms and tools (Canva, Adobe)
  • Ability to quickly create content and deliver within schedule
  • Capacity to adapt content to different networks

Video Graphing

  • Creation of engaging videos and animations for different social media networks
  • Previous experience creating successful content for YouTube profiles, Reels, and so on

Podcasting

  • Experience managing podcasts
  • Experience managing podcasts profiles, scripts, advertisements
  • Good communicator and quick thinker
