Multinational Client Executive
Multinational Client Executive – AIG
Join us as a Multinational Client Executive—where the best risk leaders in the industry work together to empower global business.
About the Role
AIG Multinational is a high-impact business area within AIG, where we design, implement, and service bespoke multinational insurance solutions for some of the world’s most complex global customers. As a key player, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional, international team to deliver tailored, compliant, and seamless risk management programmes—ensuring our clients and broker partners can confidently navigate the challenges of cross-border operations.
This is a frontline, client-facing role managing an assigned portfolio of multinational insurance programmes, working closely with underwriters, brokers, and distribution. You’ll be a strategic thought partner across AIG’s major Multinational lines of business, ensuring our solutions align with the dynamic needs of global clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Programme Management
- Manage and oversee all aspects of multinational service delivery for your assigned portfolio, ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Coordinate communication across internal stakeholders (underwriters, distribution, claims) and external partners (brokers, reinsuring carriers) throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Lead the promotion and adoption of the AIG Multinational End-to-End Process, driving operational excellence.
Technical & Compliance Expertise
- Provide multinational technical expertise to underwriters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and structural soundness of programmes.
- Draft and review legal documentation for loss-sensitive programmes, in collaboration with AIG legal counsel.
- Work closely with reinsurance teams to manage facultative reinsurance panels and ensure compliant reinsurance documentation is collected.
- Partner with multinational claims to support global claims protocols, bulletins, and ad-hoc program inquiries.

Strategic Growth & Improvement
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure performance targets are met and market trends are addressed.
- Coordinate regular Multinational stewardship meetings with clients, brokers, and distribution teams to drive portfolio growth.
- Identify operational improvements and leverage technical insights to refine solutions and enhance profitability.
- Contribute to internal and external strategies that develop AIG’s Multinational offerings and expand business opportunities.
Team Collaboration
- Primarily office-based, aligning with AIG’s culture of in-person collaboration to maintain strong team cohesion and stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
To create impact in this role, you’ll bring the following qualifications:
Experience
- Propelled commercial insurance career, with a client-facing emphasis.
- Strong technical knowledge of multinational programmes, including:
- Reinsurance structures and global insurance frameworks
- Regulatory compliance (cross-border, local legislation requirements)
- Proven track record in collaborating with multinational corporations, senior executives, and risk management teams
Critical Skills
- Exceptional client focus—experience working with multinational corporations, senior risk managers, and brokers.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities: written, verbal, and stakeholder Ctové.
- Multitasking & time management: Ability to prioritise effectively, delgate responsibilities, and meet tight SLAs.
- Analytical mindset: Identify operational inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and extend own technical expertise.
Bonus Experience (Not Required, but Preferred)
- Background in Insurance Brokerage or Consulting with multinational exposure.
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes at a global scale.
