Multinational Client Executive
Multinational Client Executive – AIG Multinational
Location: AIG Europe S.A. (U.K. Branch) & American International Group UK Ltd Functional Area: Underwriting
About the Role
Join AIG Multinational, a dynamic business area within AIG, where you’ll design, implement, and service bespoke multinational insurance solutions for global customers. As a Multinational Client Executive, you’ll support industry-leading firms to navigate cross-border risks with confidence, delivering tailored, compliant, and seamless programs.
This external broker and client-facing role focuses on managing a portfolio of multinational insurance programs, partnering with underwriters and distribution teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across key commercial lines.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Manage and oversee multinational service delivery for an assigned portfolio, ensuring the highest client experience.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders across the program lifecycle.
- Lead multinational stewardship engagement with distribution partners, brokers, and senior risk managers.
Program Design & Compliance
- Provide technical expertise to underwriters on regulatory compliance, reinsurance structures, and program design (including loss-sensitive models).
- Ensure all programs adhere to local and global regulatory frameworks.
- Partner with Product Underwriters to manage facultative reinsurance panel approvals and compliance documentation.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and escalate where multinational service level agreements (SLAs) are not met.
- Oversee policy documentation and invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Engage with multinational claims teams to support claims bulletins/protocols and address ad hoc program inquiries.

Growth & Strategic Alignment
- Drive profitability of the multinational portfolio in collaboration with product and distribution teams.
- Identify and contribute to internal/external strategies that enhance AIG’s global insurance offerings.
- Draft and secure approval for legal documentation (e.g., loss-sensitive programs) in partnership with AIG legal counsel.
Process Leadership
- Champion adoption of the AIG Multinational End-to-End process across teams.
- Identify operational improvements and implement best practices.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Experience & Technical Skills
- Proven client-facing commercial insurance experience (broker/risk management background preferred).
- Deep knowledge of multinational programs, reinsurance structures, and cross-border regulatory environments.
- Experience working with multinational corporations, engaging with senior risk managers and C-level stakeholders.
Soft Skills & Working Style
- Exceptional written and verbal communication to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate complex internal/external obligations.
- Ability to prioritise, delegate effectively, and meet tight deadlines/SLAs in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
- Proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and driving continuous improvement.
