Multiskilled Engineer
Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join our team in Motherwell. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building services equipment. Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multi-technical systems. Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective corrective actions with minimal downtime. Collaborate closely with project teams, site managers, and clients to ensure seamless service execution. Carry out various multi trade tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain and care for company tools and equipment, and keep the work area clean and tidy. Fulfil any Appointed Person / Responsible Person requirements across the sites. Manage company van responsibilities including care and key holding duties.

Who are you?
Proven experience as a multiskilled engineer in facilities management, building services, or industrial environments. Strong technical skills across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and related trades. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Good problem-solving skills with strong organizational and time management abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Current relevant certifications and qualifications – Mechanical or Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
