Multiskilled Engineer

Location: Raceview Hatchery Ballymena

Hours: Mon-Friday

We’re looking for a proactive Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our Hatchery Engineering Team. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with automated machinery, and improving equipment performance, this role offers long‑term stability, variety, and the chance to make a real impact across two modern hatchery sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and repair hatchery machinery and vehicles.
  • Lead fault‑finding and re‑engineering activities on automated equipment.
  • Support contractor management and installation projects.
  • Carry out statutory inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor energy usage using BMS systems.
  • Assist with spare parts management and stock control.

What We’re Looking For

  • Time/Skill‑Served Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) - Must be Time/Skill-Served Electrically & Mechanically
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills on automated machinery.
  • Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
  • Good reasoning, organisation, and IT skills.
