Job Description

As the multiskilled FOH team member, you embody Novotel’s progressive values through your presentation, personality and energy. You are the welcoming presence in the lobby during morning and evening hours, ensuring guests feel safe, supported, and well-cared-for. With a wealth of brand, hotel and city knowledge, guests instinctively turn to you for assistance. By connecting meaningfully with guests, you will become a familiar face and source of inspiration for progressive ideals for guests and Heartist® alike.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

Welcome guests and visitors from around the world, building relationships with new and returning guests and creating an atmosphere of genuine conviviality. Ensure accuracy and professionalism with information. Be present and visible in the lobby, easily identifiable by guests, and anticipate their needs by promptly responding to queries and requests. Work closely with a fantastic team, fostering positive relationships with other departments, including Housekeeping and maintenance..

Qualifications

As a Hotel Staff, you will...

Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit. Meet and greet our customers and check them into their hotel room upon arrival. Answer telephone enquiries and deal with customer complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. Make sure the front of house is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

What You’ll Bring…

Additional Information

Experienced, preferably at supervisor level, on Reception within the hospitality industry Ideally experience working with Opera (not mandatory - training will be provided) Be of a smart and professional appearance and have an endearing personality A true people person who can remain calm under pressure Excellent customer service and communication skills IT Literate Desirable own transport
