Maintenance Engineer

Tenbury Wells

Continental Shift Pattern: 2 Days / 2 Nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

GBP50,000

Join a well-established and growing manufacturer supplying essential products into a range of consumer and industrial markets. With significant investment in both people and technology, this business operates a highly automated production facility and offers a stable, long-term career opportunity within a collaborative engineering team.

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of a modern manufacturing plant. Working as part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you'll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.
  • Maintain and repair ancillary equipment, chillers, compressors, dryers, robotic systems.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability.
  • Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Contribute to a proactive engineering culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and reliability projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer or Technician.
  • Strong electrical bias with mechanical fault-finding capability.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Positive, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Highly Advantageous

  • Experience working with automated manufacturing machinery.
  • PLC fault-finding experience.
  • Knowledge of robotics, conveyors, or automated production systems.
