Job Description Multiskilled Technician Airdrie, Scotland Permanent, Full-time Competitive Salary Are you hands-on, hard-working, and ready to get stuck into a varied and rewarding role? Do you enjoy being part of a close-knit team that gets the job done – whatever the weather, wherever the site? If so, we want YOU on board at our Airdrie Depot! What’s the job? As a Multiskilled Technician + HGV, you’ll play a vital role in delivering essential services – from Tanker driving, high-pressure water jetting and environmental clean-ups to industrial services and general groundworks. No two days are the same, and you’ll be at the heart of the action, operating specialist equipment and vehicles (training provided) while keeping safety, quality, and professionalism front and centre. Your typical day could include: Operating jetting and clean-up equipment Operate Company vehicles, (including HGV) or any other vehicle for which the postholder is suitably qualified to operate. Tackling spills, fly tips and environmental hazards Supporting civil engineering and industrial service projects Carrying out vehicle checks, maintenance and reporting Liaising with customers and ensuring job documentation is completed Being part of a call-out rota for emergency works (with overtime available!) Qualifications What we’re looking for: A full UK driving licence (HGV or plant experience? Even better!) A practical, can-do attitude with a flexible approach to working hours Experience in a similar role or industry – or a willingness to learn on the job A strong team player who’s happy to travel and stay away when needed (available on a short notice as well) Knowledge of RAMS and health & safety practices (preferred) Additional Information Adler and Allan are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
