Senior Murex Production Manager

We are seeking a senior Murex Production Manager to oversee production stability, support governance, and change control for selected client environments. This is a production-facing role focused on keeping run activities, incident management, and change delivery under control while supporting upcoming client extensions and wider team production needs where required.

The successful candidate will act as the key coordinator between client stakeholders, Murex teams, support teams, and delivery resources. The role requires strong ownership of day-to-day production topics, clear communication, and the ability to manage complex issues across production and change workstreams.


Requirements

  • 8+ years of Murex experience, ideally in production management, production support, or client-facing delivery roles
  • Strong experience managing:
    • Production issues
    • Support escalations
    • Business-as-usual (BAU) operational follow-up
  • Proven ability to:
    • Oversee change requests
    • Manage small evolutions
    • Coordinate release workflows
    • Ensure production readiness
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Murex production environments
    • Run operations
    • Incident workflows
    • Client support governance
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across:
    • Client teams
    • Internal Murex teams
    • Support resources
    • Delivery teams
  • Strong organisational skills:
    • Follow-up
    • Prioritisation
    • Planning
    • Reporting
    • Risk/issue tracking
    • Action ownership
  • Comfortable engaging directly with:
    • Client IT and business stakeholders
    • Providing clear updates
    • Managing expectations

  • Experience managing multiple clients or client extensions in parallel would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Production Manager for selected client environments, ensuring:
    • Production and change activities remain controlled and transparent
  • Manage and coordinate production incidents:
    • Triage
    • Stakeholder updates
    • Escalation
    • Resolution tracking
    • Post-incident follow-up
  • Support change request management, including:
    • Structuring
    • Tracking
    • Coordinating
    • Following through CRs and small evolutions
  • Participate in upcoming client extensions, ensuring:
    • Production readiness
    • Support alignment
    • Smooth transition into run
  • Coordinate with:
    • Internal Murex teams
    • Client stakeholders
    • Efficient resolution of production and change-related issues
  • Maintain clear governance across:
    • Production support activities
    • Regular reporting
    • Action tracking
    • Risk/issue visibility
  • Support other clients within the team where needed, helping:
    • Maintain service stability
    • Consistent run practices
  • Drive continuous improvement across:
    • Production processes
    • Communication routines
    • Runbooks
    • Operational controls
