Music Graduate Assistant
Music Graduate Assistant – Blackheath High School
Required Terms: September 2026 – July 2027
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (with the potential to extend)
- Hours: Part-Time (18 hours per week), flexible across 5 days (Monday–Friday), term time only plus INSET and 4 additional days
- Salary: £28,857 FTE (prorated salary: £11,846.86 per annum)
About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Music Graduate Assistant to join our thriving Music Department, supporting the Director of Music and working alongside the Drama department.
Key requirements include:
- Exceptional interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable work style, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong musicianship with a broad knowledge of different musical genres
- Experience supporting small ensembles
- A passion for empowering students to develop and excel in music
