As a Music Production Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons across KS4 and KS5, teaching recording, mixing, sequencing, composition and music technology. You'll inspire students to develop their creative voice while building the technical skills needed to succeed beyond the classroom.

You'll also:

  • Plan and deliver outstanding Music Production lessons
  • Assess progress and help every student reach their potential
  • Foster creativity, independence and technical confidence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities and the wider school community

This permanent role starts in September 2026 and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

The ideal Music Production Teacher will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of music production and music technology
  • Confidence using industry-standard DAWs and studio equipment
  • A passion for developing students' creative and technical skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, engaging teaching
  • The enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to school life
