Job Description – Music Teacher
Role: Music Teacher (MPS1 – UPS3 + TLR, depends on experience) Contract: Full-time, permanent Start Date: September 2026 Teaching Responsibilities:
- Deliver Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the option to teach KS5 in future.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to jointly plan and coordinate lessons.
- Role suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.

Person Specification
Essential:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Teaching level classified as Good or Outstanding
- Music-related degree, awarded at either a 1st or 2:1 classification, from a reputable university
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to progress professionally
