Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in a thriving secondary school?

A highly regarded secondary school in Watford (WD17) is seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its successful Performing Arts Department from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students in a school that values creativity, enrichment, and academic excellence.

The Role

Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available). Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students' musical knowledge and performance skills. Encourage participation in school productions, concerts, and extracurricular music activities. Assess and monitor student progress effectively. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed. Contribute to the continued development of the Music curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to achieve full QTS by September 2026. Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music education. Can inspire students of all abilities. Salary

Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) – £33,075 to £50,471 per annum, dependent on experience and pay scale placement.
