Experienced Live-Out Nanny – Professional Football Family
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Position: Live-Out Nanny
Salary: £40,000–£70,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 45 hours per week over 5 days
French language skills to a working standard are highly desirable, although not essential. A higher salary will be offered to an exceptional French-speaking candidate.
The Opportunity
A warm and welcoming professional football family based in Solihull is seeking an exceptional, experienced live-out nanny to provide outstanding care for their 6-month-old baby boy.
This is a long-term position for a career nanny with a minimum of 15 years’ professional nanny experience, ideally with extensive experience caring for babies and supporting them through the important stages of early development. The family is looking for someone nurturing, calm, proactive and highly organised, who will become a trusted and valued part of their household.
The footballer is currently recovering from injury and may spend periods abroad over the coming year for rehabilitation and training. The successful candidate should therefore be flexible and happy to travel internationally with the family when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
