NTS Advisory Engagement Lead

As an NTS Advisory Engagement Lead you will play a critical role in partnering with trade surveillance customers globally, delivering high-impact advisory engagements, and contributing to the growth of Nasdaq's advisory function. You will thrive in this position if you're passionate about market surveillance, have deep technical expertise, and enjoy working in a customer-facing environment where you can make a meaningful impact in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver advisory engagements, enabling customers to optimise the value of their NTS implementations.
  • Apply industry experience and technical expertise to help customers improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their surveillance controls.
  • Utilise proprietary analytical tools to assess customer and market data, providing actionable recommendations on risk and control coverage, alert scenario optimisation, and data control frameworks.
  • Partner with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless, integrated customer experience.
  • Contribute to the advisory function's growth strategy, including the development of analytical tools and scalable frameworks to support the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of experience in a trade surveillance or compliance monitoring role within a global financial services firm.
  • Strong understanding of price discovery mechanisms and asset class structures, including Equities, Listed Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
  • Familiarity with market regulation and surveillance frameworks such as MAR, FINRA, or SEC requirements.
  • Proven ability to perform complex analysis, communicate findings clearly, and produce concise, high-quality documentation for senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
