National Account & Business Development Manager
Barking
£45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week

We’re looking for a confident, relationship-driven National Account & Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence across the country and build long-term partnerships with leading chefs, venues, and foodservice operators.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a true dual-role opportunity combining national account management with new business development.
- Grow and nurture key accounts
- Build strong, trusted relationships with national foodservice groups and hospitality operators
- Deliver annual growth plans aligned with company targets
- Run monthly business reviews and weekly performance reporting
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our product range
- Support pricing, tenders, and contract renewals

- Win new business
- Identify and secure new national and regional customers
- Build a strong pipeline across hospitality, stadia, education, healthcare, travel, and leisure
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award
- Create strategic entry plans for high-value target groups
- Represent us at industry events and exhibitions
- Contribute to growth strategies and forecasting
How Success Will Be Measured
You’ll play a key role in driving our commercial performance through:
- Revenue growth (new and existing customers)
- Strong gross margins
- New business wins and account retention
- Pipeline value and conversion
- Tender success rate
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is commercially driven, confident, and relationship-focused:
- Proven success in National Account Management within foodservice or FMCG
- A track record of winning new business
- Experience supplying contract caterers or hospitality groups
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of the foodservice industry
