National Account Executive

Challenger Brand - Independent retail

šŸ“On-site Central London
šŸ’ø Ā£30,000 - Ā£40,000

Ignite are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing challenger brand to hire a National Account Executive, following phenomenal early success and rapid community growth. The business is now entering an exciting new scale-up phase, with ambitious plans to expand both its product portfolio and global reach.

They are looking for someone to join the team and drive the brand's expansion into the independent retail channel, building on its significant success within grocery.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage relationships with independent retailers, leading ranging, product listings, promotions, pricing, and new account onboarding.
  • Drive growth across existing accounts while ensuring excellent in-store execution through product availability, placement, distribution, and close collaboration with operations on forecasting and stock.
  • Analyse sales performance and promotional effectiveness, using insights to identify opportunities for growth and prepare account reviews for internal stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and the wider sales team to deliver account plans, support trade events, and represent the brand at customer meetings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
