National Account Executive

Ignite are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing challenger brand to hire a National Account Executive, following phenomenal early success and rapid community growth. The business is now entering an exciting new scale-up phase, with ambitious plans to expand both its product portfolio and global reach.
They are looking for someone to join the team and drive the brand's expansion into the independent retail channel, building on its significant success within grocery.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage relationships with independent retailers, leading ranging, product listings, promotions, pricing, and new account onboarding.
- Drive growth across existing accounts while ensuring excellent in-store execution through product availability, placement, distribution, and close collaboration with operations on forecasting and stock.
- Analyse sales performance and promotional effectiveness, using insights to identify opportunities for growth and prepare account reviews for internal stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and the wider sales team to deliver account plans, support trade events, and represent the brand at customer meetings.

What skills do you need to have to be considered?
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, including Excel proficiency.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Experience within FMCG or high-growth brands, specialist retail, and retail data tools (e.g. Nielsen, Circana, retailer portals) is advantageous but not essential.
