You will support the Grocery team to deliver the annual plans to budget and be key in ensuring the plans once agreed happen both at head office and in store.

Key focus areas of the role itself and where you will spend the majority of your time:

  • Assisting on Grocery accounts on a day-to-day basis, to include supporting with new line listings, delivering the promotional plan, working with supply chain on ensuring all ranged stores have stock, highlighting and addressing gaps, ensuring all products are correctly positioned and tagged online, forecasting, EPOS & Invoice tracking with the use of retailer systems (Connect, Together With, SkuTrak, etc) and on-going promotional reviews.

  • You will work cross functionally with our Operations team on customer forecasts and with our Category and Shopper Marketing teams on range and distribution and display and feature.

  • You will attend meetings with the SNAM where appropriate and build a network of key contacts within the account base from supply chain, formats, merchandising, promotional planning, admin and the buyer. You will be expected to get out to store on a regular basis to ensure activity is happening and to review the competitor set.

  • You will also work with the account lead and Category team to develop engaging sell-in stories for new products.

  • Your role will be key in supporting the Grocery team in delivering the annual plans.

  • Working with a small team you will work across all business functions, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and NPD to deliver key Grocery targets.

  • Numerate, understanding of P&L’s and margins with good attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
