Job Title: National Account Manager

Reports To: Director of Sales

Location: Tandy House, Regal Way, Watford, WD24 4YE, with regular travel to national customer sites across the UK

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet customer and business needs

Company Description

RVM Systems is a leading global fast-growing provider of Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) technology, supporting sustainable packaging recycling worldwide. Drawing on decades of experience, we focus on making bottle and container return a simple, everyday habit rather than just a regulatory requirement. We deliver end-to-end solutions including hardware, software, installation, maintenance, and integration with DRS administrators, giving customers one partner and no gaps in service. As a lean, agile organisation, we pride ourselves on fast, customer-focused responses, practical support, and long-term commitment that goes beyond the initial contract.

Purpose of the Role

With the UK's Deposit Return Scheme rollout accelerating demand across major retail and hospitality groups, we're looking for an experienced National Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our largest, multi-site customers. This is a senior, strategic sales role focused on retention, expansion, and long-term partnerships, securing and growing national contracts rather than one-off site wins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship with a portfolio of national/key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact at senior customer level
  • Develop and execute account plans to protect and grow revenue across existing national accounts
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals, including pricing, service levels, and commercial terms, in line with company margin guidelines
  • Identify and convert opportunities to expand RVM Systems' footprint within existing accounts (new sites, additional services, upgraded solutions)
  • Act as the escalation point for service or commercial issues raised by national accounts, working closely with the Service and Installation teams to resolve them
  • Build multi-level relationships within customer organisations, from operational to senior stakeholder level
  • Prepare and present regular account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to customers and internally to the Director of Sales
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and DRS developments affecting national account customers, feeding insight back into sales and commercial strategy
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are scoped accurately for large, multi-site rollouts
  • Represent RVM Systems at senior level at trade shows, industry events, and customer forums as required
  • Ensure all commercial activity is conducted in line with the Company's Code of Conduct and values

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
