National Account Manager – Fresh Produce (Major Grocery Accounts)

£60k + car allowance + bonus + benefits

Alexander Steele are seeking a National Account Manager to partner with a leading fresh produce supplier (major UK grocery retailer business). They specialise in supplying premium fruit, veg and high-quality produce to the nation’s leading retailers.

About the Role

  • Manage and grow high-value customer accounts across major grocery retailers
  • Drive sales volume, margin improvement and category performance
  • Identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities for retail/grocery customers
  • Lead customer reviews, negotiations and category planning sessions
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal team members

About You

Essential

  • Proven experience in account management (preferably within FMCG, food, retail or fresh produce)
  • Strong commercial acumen and data-driven analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building ability
  • Proactive, ambitious mindset with a results-focused attitude
