National Account Manager – Fresh Produce (Major Grocery Accounts)
£60k + car allowance + bonus + benefits
Alexander Steele are seeking a National Account Manager to partner with a leading fresh produce supplier (major UK grocery retailer business). They specialise in supplying premium fruit, veg and high-quality produce to the nation’s leading retailers.
The business is established, growing rapidly, and fostered a collaborative, friendly work culture with structured career progression.

About the Role
- Manage and grow high-value customer accounts across major grocery retailers
- Drive sales volume, margin improvement and category performance
- Identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities for retail/grocery customers
- Lead customer reviews, negotiations and category planning sessions
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal team members

About You
Essential
- Proven experience in account management (preferably within FMCG, food, retail or fresh produce)
- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building ability
- Proactive, ambitious mindset with a results-focused attitude
