The Company:
An incredibly impressive client, having grown by 10X in just a few years to now a multi-million Food Group, are currently growing across their teams in the UK due to strong PE-backing (already completed 2x rounds YTD).
They are highly-regarded for partnering with leading restaurant groups, QSR brands, pubs, breweries, cafés, hotels and national distribution groups/contract caterers; delivering their delicious sweet baked-goods to their end users daily across the UK.
Company-wide, they are currently looking to add valuable talent to their teams; ensuring to deliver top-quality services to their customers and support to their extensive Foodservice and Wholesale account portfolio.
The Opportunity:
We're looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to manage and develop a multi-million portfolio with a strong focus on Bidfood and strategic distribution/Foodservice accounts. This will be taking ownership of the relationship from the Head of Accounts, so a truly strategic and top-level role.
The role is heavily-focused on account management; fostering and nurturing strong relationships across sales, marketing, buying, procurement and supply chain/operations, with a mix of business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic national accounts, hyper-focused on Bidfood and key foodservice partners.
- Develop wider relationships with restaurant groups, QSR operators, pubs, breweries, hotels and contract caterers.
- Identify and win new business opportunities across the foodservice sector.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation through strategic relationship management.
- Manage customer & depot forecasting, stock planning and demand through the Bidfood CCL platform.
- Take ownership of a multi-million P&L, ensuring profitable and sustainable account growth.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and NPD to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Maintain accurate pipelines and reporting using HubSpot CRM.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, tastings and industry events.
- Deliver commercial growth while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.

What They're Looking For:
- Required: Min. 18 months/2 years Account Management experience within foodservice working on Bidfood.
- Required: Experience managing the Bidfood CCL platform, depot management, forecasting and stock planning.
- Required: P&L ownership experience and strong commercial awareness.
- Required: Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ideal: Exposure to customers across Wholesale/Foodservice eg: Contract Catering, hospitality, QSR, cafés, contract catering, pubs or breweries.
- Ideal: Experience within baked-goods/desserts/Food.
- Ideal: CRM experience, ideally HubSpot.

What's On Offer?:
- Base up to £50/55k DOE (must be exceptional but flexible for strong candidates)
- £6k car allowance or company car
- 10% annual bonus (33% splits between Personal, Company & Group Performance)
- Hybrid Working (Remote with a few visits to the office in the South per month)

Interview Process:
- Initial VC meeting with Head of Accounts.
- F2F interview including a 30/60/90-day presentation.
- (If required) Final informal meeting with the wider leadership team, including a factory tour.
