We are working with a growing and ambitious business who are looking to appoint a National Account Manager to drive growth across a portfolio of key national accounts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities and taking real ownership of their accounts. You will be joining the business at an exciting stage of growth, with the chance to make a visible impact, open new revenue streams and help shape the sales function as the company continues to scale. The role is predominantly remote, with one day per week in the office.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of national accounts, delivering against revenue and margin targets
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities to expand the customer base and drive commercial growth
  • Building strong long-term relationships with customers and confidently negotiating commercial terms
  • Developing and executing account plans to increase profitability, customer spend and overall account performance
  • Managing sales forecasts and maintaining a healthy new business pipeline
  • Working closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure strong customer delivery
  • Monitoring market and competitor activity, sharing relevant commercial insight with the wider business
  • Representing the company at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events

Person specification:

  • Previous experience within National Account Management or B2B sales, with a proven track record of growing revenue and developing accounts
  • Commercially driven, self-motivated and proactive, with a genuine focus on winning new business as well as growing existing accounts
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business and taking ownership across multiple priorities
  • Results-focused and resilient, with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
