The Role
We’re looking for a high-performing National Account Manager to drive growth across a major UK grocery retailer.
Based in our new HQ in Leeds, West Yorkshire, this is a commercially influential role owning customer strategy, joint business plans, and long-term partnerships.
You’ll lead end-to-end account management; from forecasting and promotional planning to cost control, negotiation, and NPD launches, working at pace in the UK retail market. This role offers visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact across a multi-site, cross-functional business.
Your Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Deliver:
- Own and grow the strategic relationship with a top UK grocery retailer
- Lead annual and promotional negotiations, ensuring strong margin delivery
- Build customer-led commercial plans aligned to category and channel strategy
- Drive NPD listings and range optimisation through data-led insight
- Partner with supply chain, category, finance and operations to deliver OTIF performance
- Monitor market trends, pricing, competitor activity, and customer performance to influence decision-making

- Proven success managing major UK grocery retail accounts (Top 4 or premium ideally)
- FMCG or food background essential; chilled/frozen proteins or seafood experience a bonus
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with confidence in negotiation
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Able to turn data and insight into action
- Relationship-driven, resilient, and motivated by results
