National Account Manager
As a National Account Manager, you will form part of our National Accounts team and you will play an integral part in our sales operation. Effectively protect and grow our larger accounts by adopting a partnership approach to sales. You will deliver exceptional account management to our complex customers, ensuring long-term success and growth. Join us and play a pivotal role in the implementation of new contract wins. Coordination and collaboration are paramount in this area as we work to onboard and realise spending as quickly as possible, whilst managing stakeholder pressures both internally and externally. Must have relevant experience selling engineering and industrial consumables into engineering and manufacturing sectors.

What will I be doing?
- As a National Account Manager, you will work directly with our larger customers, you will see how your interactions contribute to their business objectives and you will partner with them to help achieve their ambitions.
- We truly value our customers and your customer-centric approach will continue to exceed their expectations, making us their supplier of choice.
- By demonstrating customer focus and the ability to naturally build relationships. Our customers will turn to you to help them grow their business, so your people skills will enable you to genuinely connect with our customers with a view of providing solutions to any problems.
- Dealing with our larger and more complex accounts can present a variety of situations. You’ll need to display exceptional flexibility to maintain and develop confidence in MSC as their supplier of choice. Your expertise and knowledge will allow you to adapt to the different situations that arise, and you’ll be confident that you can always position MSC as a vehicle to enable growth for our customers.
- Communicate effectively in your new role, utilising all channels of communication available to you. In addition, you’ll be able to tailor your communication approach depending on your stakeholder, demonstrating an awareness of adapting to your audience.
- Coordinate the resource of support functions around the business which requires great communication and leadership.
