MacGregor Black is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-brand beauty, wellness and home business on the search for a National Account Manager. This is a Permanent position based in London.
This is a commercial account management role responsible for owning a portfolio of key customers, from major grocers and discounters to independent retailers, and driving their growth through strong relationship management, commercial rigour and category expertise. You will take full ownership of account profitability, critical path management and seasonal planning, acting as the central link between sales, product development, design, logistics and production teams.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, presenting trend-led ranges and building long-term, strategic partnerships with your customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, delivering outstanding service throughout the order lifecycle.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor activity and market dynamics, acting as the main point of contact for allocated accounts.
- Own account profitability, negotiating costs internally and externally to meet agreed margin targets.
- Ensure P&L is competitive and accurate across pricing, discounts, delivery terms, rebates and payment terms.
- Identify gaps in the market and present trend-led opportunities throughout the seasonal sales cycle.
- Lead the development of detailed account plans, outlining growth strategies, risks and opportunities, and own annual account budgets and forecasts.
- Present seasonal performance reviews covering sales, pricing and product performance, using data and insight to inform future ranges.
- Lead customer meetings and presentations independently, confidently communicating brand positioning, product ranges and USPs.
- Act as the central link between sales, product development, design, logistics and production teams, owning critical path management for accounts.
- Manage customer purchase orders and oversee product sign-off at all stages, from concept through to production.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an account management role within consumer products, retail, or a product-led environment, managing export customers and distributors.
- Experience with UK discounters or major grocers is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitable growth.
- Confident managing complex accounts, long sales cycles and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and critical path management skills.
- Strong communicator, comfortable leading meetings and influencing both internal and external partners.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is highly desirable.
