My client is a leading beauty brand seeking a results-oriented and commercially astute National Account Manager to oversee key retail partnerships and accelerate growth.
About the Role
The role involves managing relationships across prominent UK retail channels, driving strategic planning, and executing commercial initiatives to support brand performance.
Responsibilities

Account Management:
- Oversee major retail accounts, fostering strong buyer relationships and securing new business across UK and international markets.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and commercial terms.

Sales & Analysis:
- Own account-level P&L, track performance, analyse sales trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Manage forecasting and ensure stock availability in collaboration with supply chain teams.

Planning & Forecasting:
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts.
- Align inventory with demand.
- Work closely with distribution partners to support fulfilment.

Commercial Strategy:
- Drive margin optimisation, manage trade spend and investments.
- Negotiate placements, marketing, and third-party services.

Retail & Brand Execution:
- Partner with trade marketing to ensure strong in-store and online execution.
- Present new product launches.
- Identify growth and efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years managing a key brick & mortar high street retail account (ideally Boots or Superdrug).
- Ideally experienced with major UK retailers and strong exposure to online/e-commerce platforms.
- Experience working with grocery and European retail markets is desirable.
- Strong relationship management and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint to support insights and presentations.
