Job Opportunity: National Account Manager
Are you an experienced account manager within the UK crop protection or agrochemical sector? Do you thrive on building strategic partnerships and delivering profitable growth?
We’re looking for a commercially astute National Account Manager to join our UK Commercial team, reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager. This is a high-impact role with full responsibility for managing nominated national distributor accounts and delivering agreed US$ Gross Profit targets through strategic product portfolio management.
Responsibilities
As National Account Manager, You Will
- Own and deliver annual US$ gross profit targets for your assigned accounts
- Develop 1- and 3-year strategic account plans aligned to mutual growth ambitions
- Build long-term, trusted partnerships with customer buying teams, regional managers, technical teams and key agronomists
- Lead seasonal forecasting, stock monitoring and pricing communication
- Act as the commercial expert within a defined Crop Team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Technical, Operations and Agronomy teams
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insight to shape commercial strategy
- Manage relationships with 50–100 key regional influencers and hold regular seasonal dialogue, including monthly buyer meetings and face-to-face engagement with senior decision-makers

Essential Skills And Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in UK agrochemical / crop protection sector
- Proven track record in professional account management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to maximise mutual profit
- Confident negotiator and presenter (senior, commercial & technical audiences)
- Highly organised with strong forecasting and planning capability
- CRM and IT proficient (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce)
- Willingness to travel extensively during season
