National Account Manager

National Account Manager (Junior) – FMCG

Location: Surrey/Hybrid (1-2 days in the office) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus car allowance and benefits Reference: TP450326

Position Overview

You'll take ownership of key retail accounts, developing and executing account strategies that drive double-digit growth. This role combines commercial negotiation, product launches, and distribution maximisation to deliver measurable business impact and strengthen customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing From Day 1

  • Develop and execute account plans prioritising growth opportunities
  • Drive product launches and maximise distribution across channels
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage promotional activity
  • Control P&L, ensure forecast accuracy and budget expenditure
  • Analyse sales data and develop insights-led recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships

What We Are Looking For

  • FMCG experience (UK essential!) in Grocery, Convenience, or Online
    • Discounter account management would be a plus!
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SAP advantageous)
  • Strong data analysis skills with commercial acumen
  • Negotiation, influencing, and selling abilities
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Proactive, self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven
  • Strong personal responsibility, integrity, and adaptability
