National Account Manager – Fresh Foodservice (New Business)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Location: Home-based with national travel
Are you a commercially driven sales professional with a passion for fresh food and a track record of winning national business?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading fresh food supplier for a National Account Manager to spearhead new business growth across the UK. This isn't a traditional account management role focused on maintaining existing relationships, we're looking for someone with a genuine hunter mentality who thrives on opening doors, developing opportunities and securing new national accounts.
If you're motivated by building pipelines, winning new customers and making a real commercial impact, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As National Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities within the foodservice sector. Working closely with internal teams including Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Support, you'll create tailored solutions that deliver value for customers while driving profitable growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
