National Account Manager - Impulse (snacking)
Offices: Hertfordshire Reports into: Head of Impulse Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000 + £5,000 bonus/Benefits Allowance + 15% Bonus

Key Responsibilities
Account Management in Convenience Channel
- Oversee full management of key customers in the Convenience sector (including Booker, Spar, and forecasts), covering:
- Budget planning & P&L
- Range review proposals
- Joint business planning
- New line listings
- Promotional planning & execution
- Stock monitoring (ensuring range compliance and addressing shortages)
- Online positioning & tagging
- Forecasting & retail system utilisation
- Ongoing promotional reviews

Attend external customer meetings, fostering relationships with key contacts including:
- Supply chain
- Formats leadership
- Merchandising teams
- Promotional planners
- Administrative staff
- Buyers

Frequency visits to stores to verify activity and evaluate competitors.
Collaborative & Development Work

Partner with the Category Team to refine existing product ranges and develop compelling sell-in approaches for new offerings.

Coordinate with Shopper Marketing to align media spend and strategy with broader marketing initiatives.

Ensure the Impulse Team’s annual plans are effectively supported.

Operate across multiple departments (Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, NPD) towards defined objectives.

Profile & Requirements
Preferred Background
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Key Account Manager, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Essential Qualifications
- Right-to-Work in the UK (no sponsorship required)
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Industry-Relevant Experience
- 2+ years in Account Management with FMCG buyers
Key Skills & Mindset
- Results-driven, capable of hitting account/channel targets
- Strong numeracy skills, expertise in P&L’s and margins, and attention to detail
- Persuasive selling abilities to secure buy-in across buyers and internal stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational, communications, and presentation skills (written & verbal)
- Passion for health and well-being (aligns with brand values)
- Highly skilled team player with collaborative approach
