The Opportunity
Our client is a highly respected and innovative supplier of quality housewares products, working with many of the UK's leading retailers. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious National Account Manager to take responsibility for growing and driving business with key grocery and retail accounts.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will:
- Manage and develop relationships with major UK grocery and retail customers.
- Drive profitable sales growth across branded and own label product ranges.
- Lead annual commercial negotiations, joint business planning and promotional activity.
- Work closely with buying teams to identify opportunities for new product development.
- Manage the complete own label process from concept through to launch.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, budgets and account plans.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, supply chain and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer delivery.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer performance to identify growth opportunities.

About You
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven national account management experience within the housewares, kitchenware, tablewares sector.
- Experience managing major grocery retailers (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl, Waitrose, Co-op or similar).
- Strong experience of own label and retailer project management.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, forecasts and promotional plans.
- Highly organised with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- A proactive, driven and collaborative approach.
