About Caws Mon

Caws Mon Ltd is launching a new UK cheese import and distribution business, combining the exclusive UK distribution of one of Europe's broadest speciality cheese portfolios (1,500+ SKUs across French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch ranges) with our own British cheese production in Anglesey, North Wales. Our integrated supply chain gives us a landed-cost advantage, with a proposition spanning retail, the specialist cheese trade, foodservice and wholesale.

The Role

You will be the commercial engine of our UK launch — owning new business development across our four priority channels and building the customer base from the first listing upwards. You will work directly with the founding team, with real autonomy and visibility, implementing an agreed channel strategy rather than inheriting a legacy account set.

Key responsibilities:

  • New business — Win new listings across premium grocery retail, the specialist and deli trade, foodservice distribution and wholesale/discounter seasonal programmes
  • Full-cycle selling — Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, buyer meetings, range proposals, commercial negotiation, onboarding and first-year growth
  • Route to market — Develop trading relationships with key distributors and wholesalers (specialist fine-food distributors, national foodservice groups) as route-to-market partners
  • Relationships — Build long-term buyer relationships through structured account plans, regular reviews, store visits and trade show presence (IFE, Farm Shop & Deli Show, Speciality & Fine Food Fair)
  • Strategy delivery — Execute and refine the UK channel strategy — sequencing targets, tracking the pipeline, and feeding buyer and market intelligence back into range and pricing decisions
  • Commercial ownership — Manage promotional plans, forecasts and P&L for your accounts as the base grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
