About the Company
This established UK bakery manufacturer is part of one of the country’s largest and most successful food groups, providing the resources, stability, and long-term opportunities associated with a major organisation.
The business manufactures an extensive portfolio of frozen bakery products, including muffins, sweet pies, garlic breads, baguettes, and other savoury bakery lines. It supplies customers across foodservice, wholesale, contract catering, and retail, with a strong heritage in producing high-quality private-label products.
This is an exciting time to join the company. Alongside its established private-label business, it has recently launched its own brand into the UK market and is making a multimillion-pound investment in its Yorkshire manufacturing site to support future innovation, capacity, and growth.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Foodservice National Account Manager to take responsibility for developing the company’s presence across the UK foodservice channel.
You will manage and grow relationships with major national foodservice wholesalers, with a particular focus on Brakes and Bidfood. The role will also involve identifying new commercial opportunities, increasing product distribution, and working collaboratively with customers to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
