National Account Manager

National Account Manager Location: Bristol up to East Anglia Salary: Up to £60,000 basic salary (DOE) + Up to 25% Bonus, Generous Car Allowance, Plus a great additional benefits package such as Private Medical & dental, Life Insurance and Enhanced Pension options. The Role A truly exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & experienced Sales Professional to join our client as a National Account Manager looking after an established account base of B2C Dealership Partners, who are a market-leading manufacturer within the water treatment sector. While the business has both B2B and B2C products within their portfolio you are representing the Consumer products that will go in to homeowners properties through your distribution partners. Working as part of the UK commercial team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of approximately 40 independent dealer partners across the UK. Your focus will be on strengthening relationships, driving commercial growth, identifying new opportunities and supporting dealers to maximise sales performance. This is a relationship-led account management role rather than a new business position. Success will come from understanding your partners' businesses, helping them develop, and ensuring they have the tools, support and commercial strategies needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a portfolio of around 40 independent dealership accounts. Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and key stakeholders. Develop joint business plans to increase sales and market share. Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth. Deliver regular business reviews and commercial recommendations. Support dealers with product launches, promotions and sales initiatives. Provide training, coaching and commercial guidance where required. Work closely with internal teams including customer service, marketing and operations to ensure excellent partner support. Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts and CRM records. Travel extensively throughout the UK to visit dealer partners.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with excellent relationship-building skills. You will ideally have: Experience managing a network of independent partners, distributors or dealers. A proven track record in field based account management. Demonstrable strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to strategically grow accounts based on customer data The ability to influence stakeholders at owner and director level. Excellent presentation and communication skills. A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills. A full UK driving licence. Experience within water treatment, plumbing, HVAC, building products, engineering, electrical, home improvement or other technical B2B sectors would be advantageous, although candidates from other industries with experience managing independent dealer or distributor networks are encouraged to apply.
