Position: National Account Manager, Flora Professional
Location: Southwark, London, Hybrid
About the Position
Help shape the menus of tomorrow by partnering with some of the UK's leading Foodservice and Beverage customers.
This is an exciting time to join Flora Food Group as we enter our next phase of growth within Flora Professional. As National Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in growing our business across a variety of Foodservice and Beverage channels, managing a portfolio of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and Foodservice End User customers throughout the UK & Ireland.
Working with a mix of established customers and new opportunities, you'll build trusted partnerships, develop commercial growth plans and work closely with customers to understand their business, menus and operational needs. Together with our Culinary team, you'll help customers identify products and applications that deliver outstanding performance, consistency, taste and value in professional kitchens.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner across Commercial, Culinary, Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply Chain to create tailored customer solutions that deliver sustainable growth for both Flora Professional and your customers.
Your Mission Objective

Grow Strategic Customer Partnerships
- Develop trusted relationships across commercial, procurement and culinary stakeholders within your customer base. Build Joint Business Plans that strengthen partnerships, increase product distribution and menu penetration, and identify opportunities to grow sales through both existing and new applications.

Develop New Commercial Opportunities
- Identify and convert new opportunities across Foodservice and Beverage channels. Build relationships with prospective customers, develop compelling commercial and culinary propositions, and support the continued growth of Flora Professional across the UK & Ireland.

Deliver Culinary-Led Customer Solutions
- Partner closely with our Culinary team to bring products to life through menu development, product demonstrations, kitchen trials and customer presentations. Help customers solve operational challenges by recommending solutions that deliver on taste, functionality, consistency and kitchen performance.

Drive Commercial Excellence
- Lead customer planning, forecasting, pricing discussions, Joint Business Planning and commercial negotiations to deliver revenue, volume and profitability targets. Monitor account performance, identify opportunities and implement actions that support sustainable growth.

Collaborate Across the Business
- Work closely with colleagues across Culinary, Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver a seamless customer experience, from initial opportunity through to successful implementation and long-term partnership.
What Does It Take to Be Successful?
- Proven track record of managing and growing National or Key Accounts within Foodservice, Beverage, FMCG or hospitality, ideally with exposure to Quick Service Restaurant or Foodservice End User customers.
- Strong understanding of the Foodservice and Beverage landscape, with an established network of customer contacts and decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success growing existing customer relationships while identifying and converting new commercial opportunities.
- Excellent commercial planning, negotiation and Joint Business Planning skills, with the ability to deliver sustainable business growth.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- A self-starter who is comfortable driving growth, navigating ambiguity and managing opportunities from initial engagement through to implementation.
- A collaborative approach, with confidence working cross-functionally alongside Culinary, Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Strong commercial curiosity, organisational skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Forward-thinking, commercially minded and entrepreneurial in your approach.
- A genuine passion for food and helping customers create successful menu solutions.
