National Account Manager – Merchant Channel
About the Opportunity
We're looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of key national merchant and buying group accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in driving sales, building strategic partnerships and delivering commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key national merchant and buying group accounts.
- Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at Head Office and regional level.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing reviews and contract renewals.
- Identify new business opportunities, product listings and promotional activities.
- Deliver sales targets through effective account planning and market analysis.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and operational delivery.
- Monitor account performance, provide sales forecasts and present regular business reviews.

About You
- Experience managing merchant accounts or working within the merchant sector.
- National Account Management experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with strong organisational skills.
- Confidence analysing sales data and identifying growth opportunities.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
