Company Description
Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a National Account Manager - Asda and Marks & Spencer FTC 14 Months to be based in across the UK
The purpose of this role is to lead and grow the commercial relationship with Asda and M&S, delivering profitable sales growth. This involves developing tailored joint business plans, managing promotional strategies, and ensuring best-in-class execution across both retail and online channels. The role requires a deep understanding of each retailer’s unique operating model, customer base, and strategic priorities to unlock mutual value and drive category performance.
As a key customer-facing representative, the National Account Manager will build strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders at both Asda and M&S. By leveraging data insights, shopper trends, and category expertise, the role will identify and capitalise on growth opportunities, negotiate effectively, and ensure the brand remains competitive and aligned with evolving consumer needs in a dynamic retail landscape.

- Deliver growth targets that are driven by business plans that are aligned and relevant to your customers and Red Bull priorities.

- Forecast, drive growth and track development of all relevant accounts in order to be able to make well informed, accurate and timely business decisions.
- Ensure accurate forecasts of volume, profit and point of sale material.
Customer Contact Strategy
- Proactively manage customer contact strategy in order to remove obstacles to progress.
- Timely meetings with contacts to ensure development of overall business plan.
- Instigate and follow up top to top meetings with selected customers.
Red Bull Contact Strategy
- Build and maintain internal contact strategy to help meet overall account KBI’s; to include field sales, category, logistics, finance, brand, consumer & sports.
Category Expertise
- To become an expert in category, consumer and customer covering both your customer base and Red Bull.
- Positive decisions based on insight both sought and made available. Work closely with internal category contact.
Lead, Manage & Coach
- To lead, coach and inspire a team of high performing NAE’s working across diverse portfolio of accounts.
Brand Advocate
- To be a brand advocate to your customers, the trade and Red Bull and mirror the brand values in order to deliver enhanced brand perception at all times.
Qualifications
- Strongly established experience in Account management & P&L Accountability.
- Experience managing direct reports and evidence of direct report development.
- Experience working with retailer-specific commercial frameworks, systems, and processes within major grocery or high-street retail account.
- An understanding of the UK grocery landscape, shopper behaviours, and the strategic priorities of large national retailers, including both store and online channels.
- Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills.
- Experience of high-level negotiation.
- Evidence of writing and delivering a Joint Business Plan.
- Self-starter with a focus on results and customers.
- Proven track record of achievement.

Additional Information
Travel
Customers are based all over the UK so there will be extensive travelling within the UK. The Red Bull Head Office is based in Covent Garden and you will be required to attend meetings here at least fortnightly and often weekly during busy periods.
