National Account Manager – B2B / Ingredients
(Hull / Yorkshire / Stoke-on-Trent)
As our Food Service & Ingredients division continues to grow, we are strengthening our commercial capability with the addition of a National Account Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Controller / Head of Sales, this role plays a key part in driving sustainable growth across our B2B ingredients portfolio. Working closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance and NPD, you will lead strategic customer partnerships, ensuring profitable account management and the delivery of long-term business plans. Acting as a central commercial contact, you will identify new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships and support the continued expansion of our Foodservice & Ingredients offering.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of key B2B manufacturing accounts, driving profitable sales growth and effective portfolio management across multiple categories
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers, acting as the primary commercial contact
- Develop and deliver account plans aligned to both customer objectives and Cranswick’s wider business strategy
- Monitor, review and update costings to identify opportunities for improved profitability and margin enhancement
- Track performance against budgets and forecasts, ensuring delivery of sustainable growth targets
- Lead and implement strategic initiatives that support customer performance and business objectives
- Act as the commercial link between customers and internal teams, collaborating with site operations, finance and development functions
- Identify and unlock new business opportunities within the Foodservice & Ingredients channel
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across multiple sites and stakeholders
This role will involve regular travel across Group sites and customer locations.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in account management within a chilled food, B2B or food manufacturing environment
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage complex accounts and drive growth across multiple categories or sites
- Good understanding of sales, marketing and NPD processes within a food business
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented, with strong organisational and planning capabilities
- A proactive, results-focused approach with the ability to work at pace
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
