National Account Manager - High Street & Grocery
Home based - 2 days in London per Month
£55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A dynamic, high-growth beauty, personal care and lifestyle SME brand is seeking a National Account Manager to lead on a selection of High Street & Grocery customers.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will take full responsibility for commercial performance of your customers across the UK & Ireland markets. This role combines strategic planning, forecasting & analysis, customer engagement and team leadership. You will shape sales plans, build collaborative business relationships, and play a key role in long-term commercial decision-making and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales and profit targets across your given customer base.
- Build strong senior-level relationships with key retailers and partners, leading negotiations and joint business planning.
- Work closely with Demand Planning and Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal stock availability.
- Oversee promotional calendars, trade investment mechanics & planning, and in-store activation in partnership with Marketing and Trade teams.
- Analyse commercial performance across channels to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
- Represent the brand at customer meetings, trade events, and market presentations.
Experience Required

- Strong commercial acumen including forecasting, P&L management, promotional & trade spend analysis & management with proven success within beauty, personal care, or lifestyle consumer categories.
- Experience managing major UK retail accounts either in high street, grocery or both.
- Skilled negotiator, relationship builder, and communicator, able to influence at multiple stakeholder levels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
