National Account Manager
The National Account Manager will oversee key relationships and drive sales growth within major Food Manufacturers. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in account management and a strong focus on achieving business objectives.
Client Details
My client is a fantastic food ingredients manufacturer in the UK. Built up by one family over 130 years, they have become notable for their quality, customer service, and ability to innovate within the market. In recent years, they have been acquired by a global parent company, offering investment and growth opportunities whilst still retaining their brand for which they are loved.
Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts to drive sales growth.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve favourable outcomes for both the company and clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders to communicate strategies and results.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the overall business planning process.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Profile
A successful National Account Manager should have:
- Proven experience at KAM, RAM, or NAM Level with Food.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
